Customer Journey "Go To Next Step" Option?

I have a 5 email customer journey in the making. After each email send, I have an if/then and then if YES it creates a task and moves forward.

After email 1, if they don't open the email, I don't want their journey to end, I want them to then just move to step 2 and get the 2nd email.

After the 2nd email, if still no opens, I then don't mind them dropping off the journey.

Is there a way to add tiles that say "if no, go to next step", etc, without having to add email 1-5 after each no step, as well. I hope this makes sense. Customer Journeys, or Drip Campaigns, were so much more clear to me when we were using Pardot.

    Hi backinstereo,

Currently only If/then and Split tiles are available to split the path, I am afraid that there is no "if no, go to next step" feature.

As per my understanding, a possible way is to split contacts who don't open email 1 to No branch, then add same tiles of Yes branch to them if they open the 2nd email.

So the only way to do my Task logging and keep with my pattern with these 5 emails is to copy and paste the entire 5 email journey over and over after each no? That seems in-efficient.

How are people reporting on their contact activity for their sales team if you can't track tasks EFFICIENTLY in a journey? Any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas regarding my questions above?

    Hi backinstereo,

Thank you for raising the question!

What you are essentially asking for is a possibility to merge/join journey branches (and removing the need of recreating exactly the same steps after each if/then branch), correct?
If that's the case then it's already in our plans for 2021.

    Thank you,
    Aga
