When entering text into the "Results" column for a product test, the "Status" automatically results in a fail. Right now the text target value is set to <>"" because I am not looking for any specific value to receive a passing status. Is there a way I could remove any requirements in order for a test to be considered passing? I have attached an image showing text entered into the results box along with the status and text target value. Thanks!

It also depends on how the Status field is filled. As Suresh mentioned, if it is an option field, add "blank" value to the list of options. If you fill it with some code, you need to check how the field is filled or validated.
Is this a customization you are doing ? If the status is a option value then it will default the value to first, add blank value to options tring so that it will default to blank.
