Dear All Experts,

I was asked for make a button which will update Quality Order after validate(As after validating quality order to be closed). Well it be done after command button(to update that closed quality order) ?? or i would write a code, if i do, so please give a suggestion and your help will be valuable.Another, thing is after validating reopen button is disable to open quality order, as sample materials are destructive in our process.Please the above image will make you clear for my question.

Hi!

You want to create a new button to reopen orders or you want to make "Reopen quality order" button enabled?

Dear Rustem,

Thanks for your reply, Yes, i want to have a Technic in which i can reopen close quality order, as the status of the quality order is either pass or fail and materials are destructive after sampling, would it be possible to edit or reopen a quality order with a button click or something else.

You should write code to achieve this. There are many ways to do it.

As example override the clicked() method on the button. But the logic must be written on the table or on the class and from clicked() method you should call that logic.

What kind of logic that would be, for example writing update record or something else, would you like to suggest me or give an example of code, what kind of code that would be ?

As example, take a look at smmBusinessRelationsListPage form and Convert2CustomerCtrl MenuItemButton on GeneralTab.

And you need to keep in mind that update record is not enough and you need to be careful about it. You need to know all related objects what needs to be updated.

I'll recommend to debug the process which set status Pass to Quality Order and you'll understand how it works and which objects are related to this process step by step.
