Hello,

New developer question:

I accidentally created two Extended Data Type Extensions on ProductQuantity EDT.  So now I see this in my AOT by Model View:

How do I remove these two Extended Data Type Extensions?  There is no actual meaningful work done on these at this time.

I have the same question (0)

Since you created them, I presume they are still in your project. If not, create a project of same model where these extensions belong too, right click on the object and click Delete. You would get a prompt, click ok.

    Hello Komi,

Thanks so much for reaching out to help on this question.  Yes they are in a project of our customized code.  But there does not seem to be a right click delete option. I think I must be in the wrong place?

    This is what I see:

    Hello Jim Taylor,

You have to delete from the Project itself not, from the AOT(Application Object explorer).

You would find the project in the solution explorer tab which by default is on the right side of VS screen.

    Hi Jim,

If you select the EDT, you can use the 'Delete' key to delete the items.

    Hello Komi,

From the AOT I can add the two Extended Data Type Extensions to my project. Then from the project I can use the delete command.. .but that only removes it from the project. They're both still listed in the AOT.

Am I mis-understanding something or is there some basic activity I am missing?

    - Jim

After the deletion, refresh AOT. They are actually gone.

That's it!  Thanks for understanding and helping me with such a basic question.  Very much appreciated. Have a better than good day.
