Signing limit policy and currency

Hello,

We have an Ax 7.2 with legal entities in several countries, and thus the company currency differs among these companies.

We are now about to create a singning limit policy that we want to use for all the legal entities. The Policy should be attached to compensation levels.

On the policy rule line there is a field for currency; how does this work when legal entities have different currencies? If I specify the Currency to EUR is the amount then recalculated according to the exchange rate in the legal entities that uses the rule, but has a different currency than EUR?

Or is the solution to set up one signing limit policy per currency? Do we need one compensatoin level id per currency in that case? Or is it possible to attach the same compensation level to different signing limits?
