Hi All,
Anyone experience this issue before?
Error: You don’t have permission to view files in this location, Contact your Microsoft team owner or SharePoint administrator for access.
This link below did not resolve the issue
Hoping for your advise.
Thanks,
Glenn
Hello Glen,
This error message usually means that you do not have the required permissions to access the files in that SharePoint library. To resolve this issue, you will need to contact either your Microsoft team owner or SharePoint administrator to grant you access to the files.
But manually granting document access permissions in SharePoint can be time-consuming and prone to human error. One possible solution to this issue could be to use a third-party app which sync’s security privileges from Dynamics CRM to SharePoint.
SharePoint Security Sync by Inogic is a Microsoft AppSource preferred app for synching Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM security privileges to SharePoint. It auto-syncs document access permission from Dynamics 365 CRM to SharePoint. This proves helpful in ensuring that users have the appropriate permissions to access the files they need in SharePoint.
SharePoint Security Sync also allows users to move/copy email, notes, and sales literature attachments in bulk to the cloud. It provides users with various other document and storage management features to save Dynamics 365 CRM storage space and costs. You can also resolve SharePoint Document Library Limit by creating custom SharePoint library structures within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM with this!
Download SharePoint Security Sync for a 15-day free trial from our website or Microsoft AppSource.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Security Group creation and assigning appropriate security roles did not fix the issue. Do we have any other option/configuration to check?
Thanks,
GCE
Hello Maulik,
Good day. Thanks. Permission was checked and user has system admin and appropriate security roles needed. Do you have any additional advise how to fix this?
Thanks,
Glenn
Hello Glenn E
Also check the security role has this permission.
Please mark the answer as verified if that's helpful for you.
Hi,
I recommend you to check the user's security role to access the SharePoint sites.
