Since when have you been getting this error? It looks like the service in the AU environment is temporarily down. Please try again after some time.
Do one thing, try uploading a different, smaller extension just to confirm that it’s a server-side issue and not related to your extension.
If it keeps failing, raise a Microsoft support ticket.

This is not related to extensions , Can you verify any updates in Admin Centre .
If you have some other tenant you can check once .
Or have some waiting period of 1 hour and try to publish again  .

IF not solved then please raise ticket to MS.

    Hi,

The error “ServiceUnavailable” during extension deployment usually indicates an issue with the Business Central service availability or environment connectivity, not with your extension package itself.
Quick Fixes you can try. :-
    1. Retry after a few minutes (often resolves if it’s a transient issue).
    2. Check Business Central Service Health in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    3. Ensure your extension size is optimized (remove unnecessary symbols).
    4. If persistent, raise a support ticket with Microsoft and include:
    Environment name
    App ID & version
    Error details

    Hello,

The “ServiceUnavailable” error usually means that the Business Central service was temporarily busy or under maintenance during your app upload. Try again from Admin Center → Manage Apps after a few minutes, ensuring no environment update or process is running. If a prior upload failed, increase the app version, confirm that your runtime and dependencies match the production version, and review telemetry or contact Microsoft Support if the issue persists.

    Hi,

Could you please check what the full error message is in the installation status?
Also, on the sandbox installation working or not?

Have you signed with a codesign certificate that has an extension after modifying?

    Hello,

This error indicates a temporary service disruption or maintenance. It’s not typically caused by issues in your extension package.

To resolve it, retry after some time, check the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for service health updates, ensure no other operations are running in the environment.

This type of error is usually a Microsoft issue and should be resolved soon.
Currently, BC Yammer Group is inaccessible and cannot be submitted directly to the technical team.

    Thanks.

    Hi
It's likely that MS is applying some patch or something similar, I recommend trying again, or if possible, restarting the environment.

    Hi,

The error during extension upload usually indicates a temporary issue with the Business Central service or environment availability.

Wait and retry after a few minutes. Check the Service Health Dashboard in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for any ongoing issues.

If the issue persists, raise a support ticket with Microsoft as this is typically a platform-side problem.

    Regards,
    Rishabh

There was an issue affecting AU and NZ. It looks like it's fixed now.
