Unable to update Owner using workflow

Hi,

I’m trying to write a workflow that checks the user name in field A and then updates the record Owner field with the same name.

The problem I am having is when trying to set the properties on the form in the workflow the Owner field is greyed out so I can’t map to it.

I have checked the usual causes of this and can confirm that the Owner field is not read only and also is only on the form once, so I do not know what is the cause of this?

Thanks
Spaz
