GP still going into GP 2018 folder

I just did another installation of GP from a newly created package file and even though I said to install GP in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP folder it went into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2018 folder. Even after deleting the original C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2018 folder plus uninstalling GP 2018 using Programs and Features. This was GP 18.3.1200.

Derek, yes it was. I dropped the update for GP 18.3.1200 into update folder of the install package. I thought I had read that it was corrected. I will wait.

Is this the MDGPFALL2020_DVD_ENUS.zip media that the install package is created from?

I ask because I wasn't able to get that far creating an install package from this DVD, I was getting an 'Instance name error'.

That being said, it was/is a documented issue and I haven't heard that we fixed it in the new media.
