We have a number of errors that pop in a variety of places randomly. What is the best wat to diagnose what is causing the problem? All they say is "An error has occurred, try this action again. Not very helpful.
What is the best way to nail these down?
BTW, this is Dynamics 365 On-Premises 8.2 with all of the latest patches.
This all depends on the errors themselves. Are they happening during general navigation or performing specific steps? There are many logs you can look at on your servers such as you can enable verbose Platform tracing, looking at the event viewer of the D365 servers, run a SQL Profiler, perform a network trace during a repro of the issue, etc.
