Document management with Sharepoint online - error 500 when opening files

Hi,

I have configured Sharepoint to store documents in D3FO for document handling. I can successfully access sharepoint site via browser as well as test connection within D3FO. I am able to attach documents in D3FO and attached documents are available in sharepoint.

However i am getting an error when i try to open document from D3FO.

"error 500 there is problem with server. sorry server has encountered an error. it is either not available or can't respond at this time. please contact your system administrator."

i checked event viewer and could not find anything.

I am running D3FO 1611 Update 3, i have tested this on 2 different tenants and both are having same issue. 

Has anyone faced similar issues and can provide details to solve?

    Hi Hiren

    I'm getting the same thing. I am running update 5. I can open the document from within Sharepoint with no issues, but previewing or opening from within D365 Ops gives me the 'Error 500".

    I'll let you know if I can get this resolved but hopefully someone can provide a solution for us.

    Ensuring the timezone on Office 365 (Check file attachment time in SharePoint) is the same as the VM hosting the AOS should solve this problem. It worked for me.
