Hi,

I am adding a track and trace link to shipment report.

TrackNTraceNoText := 'www.myconsignor.no/WebShopPackageTracker.aspx?orderNUmber=' + FORMAT("Sales Shipment Header"."No.");

When i print the report its like it cut off the url at the questionmark( ? )

    Hi,

    Your code is fine. I did the same and it worked.

    Please check your FORMAT("Sales Shipment Header"."No.").

    Hope it helps.

    Yes, it works fine when i do a message like that. I get the correct string.

    But when I make a textbox and add the field in the report it only shows half of the text like in the picture attached in the first post.

    Hi,

    It actually works when you take it to a Textbox too.

    Please check the Textbox Expression and Properties please.

    Try with this string which is the one i want to use - dont know why the editor in here also removed some of it.

    TrackNTraceNoText := 'http://www.myconsignor.no/WebShopPackageTracker.aspx?installationID=999308000028&orderNUmber=' + FORMAT("Sales Shipment Header"."No.");

    Hi Christopher,

    It still works for me.

    You can try this: Preview the report and go to Help -> About This Report and check do you have the full string.

    Hope it helps

    I simply printed the TrackNTraceNoText text field and got following result as desired.

    Just see the textbox length and "Allow Height to Increase" property.

    Hi,

    I agree with Vishal. Check the textbox length and "Allow Height to Increase" property.

    You should be fine.

    That did the trick! I increased the height of the text box and it shows the full lenght of the link now.

    How can I make change the link like this in report
    Track&Trace

    instead of

    community.dynamics.com/.../34

    Hi,

    In report properties in Dev Environment, enable EnableHyperlinks.

    Then in RDLC,

    Go to Textbox properties, under Action Tab, select "Go to URL" and Select URL, choose your textbox.

    Then in textbox Expression, write what you have to show.

    Then you can preview and click to open the URL in a browser.
