You can setup it via the user permissions for that user.

Easy option is to switch on "recording" and do only those actions that the user need to do, and system will create permissions to those objects the user should have access to. Refer more here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd568740(v=nav.90).aspx

    Hi srinandhat,

Depending on your company rules and your database customizations, you could use the standard role and assign it to the user or create a role that is allowing that. In any case you need deep understanding of changing roles and securities. Can this be that another role is restricting? Is there any customizations directly in SQL?

What is the error message? usually you can solve any of those issues by reading them.

    Dear srinandhat  ,

you Don't need to confuse let me explain short and sweet

On NAV this kind of things control by "Permission set"

You can go to "Permission set" and see what are those

but your scenario ,  its better to create new permission set for those users

You can create a new permission set like "Create sale order" (you can name it as you want)

and assign required permission to that permission set  "Create sale order"

then go to user card ==> permission set ==> map your new permission set and remove others

Make sure when you create new permission set you need to add following permission sets along with your new permission set

    1. ADCS ALL

    2. BASIC
