How to disable Crash dumps (.dmp) from application point of view?

Posted on by 9
Hello GP Community,

We are currently in Dynamics GP 18.5.1661 (2023 June) version and we are noticing that GP is creating CrashDumps automatically in APPData/Local for every user. So far i have done multiple GP upgrades but i have never enabled/disabled to create crash dumps and i am thinking this has been implemented in latest version to automatically take crash dumps well it is a good idea but it is eating up lot of space on our terminal servers. We are constantly doing cleanups .

I would like to request if anyone have an idea to how to disable automatic CrashDumps for Dynamics GP can you please post an answer. Thanks in advance for your help.

While  I was posting this question, i got some suggestions on similar threads and looks like one of the thread is talking on same issue however the interesting part is , when i click on the thread it is redirecting to forum's home page not sure it has been deleted or it is some kind of a bug, pasting thread link below along with screenshot of similar threads suggestion.
