Fixed Assets Disposal

Creation of a fixed asset disposal created duplicate Acquisition and Disposal lines, asset balance is zero, but negative balance left on asset roll forward report.

How should you correct this.

    Can you share a screenshot of a Journal you posted and output you are seeing in Finance & Operation?

    Has anyone modified the Roll Forward report?

    Please check standard Report and Book Transaction for better clarification.

    Hi DonDon,

    Can you share the setup of the disposal parameters for the asset group linked to this asset? It may be the case that there are too many lines or another wrong configuration.

    Can you also share a screenshot if the asset roll forward report?

    The journal posted was of transaction type Disposal - Scrap with no values.

    Not sure why but I'm unable to post screen shots.

    I think the issue is that this asset is linked to a Main fixed asset and when the asset NBV was move to this new asset the Create depreciation toggle was not turned on, so has created duplicate Disposal entries.
