I have a requirement where in i want to have multiple hierarchies for company entity. For example company Child can have Company parent 1 and company parent 2 as parents and need to have both company parent 1 hierarchy and company 2 hierarchy.
You could try this functionality using PCF control to show data as per your requirement.

But the main objective is it maintain a hierarchy for these multiple parent companies. And hierarchy is only valid for self referencial 1:N relationships

A company can have many child companies and a child company can have many parent companies, right? You need to create a recursive many-to-many relationship between company and company.
