Commercial invoice on open load (export documents)

We ship abroad with ex-works and our customers sent over their truck drivers in advance of the work done in the warehouse. How can we create commercial invoices in advance so they can arrange the customers already. We do not see any item name on the commercial invoice lines and we can only print it on open loads. Does anybody has documentation on export/ customers in relationship to AX?

    Hi Util001,

Can you provide some more information on what you have already done?

Your first question is about how to create commercial invoices while the following sentence says that you already created them but cannot see the item name.

What kind of documentation are you looking for regarding the export/customer?

    We need for export:

    - EUR1 Non-Certified and EUR1 Certied

    - Commercial Invoice

    - HS/ Intra stat codes (weight, unit price (cost/ sales price, quantity).

    - What is loaded per pallet/ weight/ sizes .

We want to sent those preferably in advance to the carrier so they can plan their pickups.

    Hi Ulti001,

AX does not ship with all documents required for exporting purposes - at least in my country - as the documents are country-specific and often require information from the company, freight forwarder, etc. that is often not directly tracked in AX. For that reason, most companies I worked with regularly use extentions, that is special software tools that directly integrate with the tax authorities systems.

I would suggest that you possibly try to identify with a developer what you can get out of AX by creating/modifying some of the available reports and possibly compare the functionalities and price of some available add-on software tools in your country to decide how to go on.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

We have created next commercial invoice with eur1 certified and non-eu. However, what to do with the discount? We give in this example 25% discount. How to display this ?

Is Precision Forms a good ISV to use for these?
