Cannot print reports in BC anymore? Error after hitting print.

Multiple users are having problems printing. Our current process is to hit Preview & Close  -> Hit printer icon -> save as PDF and then print. This has worked in the past but now I'm having certain users unable to print. I checked permissions and security groups and these users have the same permissions as other users who are not encountering this problem. Changing browsers has had no effect on this error. The error has no details on it and says "An error occured while trying to print this report".
 
Below I have screenshots showing our current "printing" process. It is always handled by the browser. We do not universal print set up, but I am hoping we can fix this error.

    Hi, I tested it briefly and there was no problem.
    My Version: W1 25.4 (Platform 25.2.29913.0 + Application 25.4.29661.30275)
     
    Is there any information in the Windows Event Log?

    hi,
    I have same situation. I can print reports by Print button, but i can't to do it from preview page. I have tested it on V28.0 and V27.5. The Print button do not call a dialog page from any browsers and apps.

    I have the same situation.
     
    Version 26.5 works fine and the preview page appears. 
     
    But version 27.5 and version 28.00 i does not work. Tested Chrome, Edge, Firefox

     Same issue on our side, we are no longer able to print any DBC report through the "Preview & Close" page on any report (for my 2 sandboxes updated to 28.0, my production and sandbox environments which are both on 27.5 don't have that issue).
     

    I tested with all three: Chrome, Edge and Firefox with the same behavior; which seems to be affected by DBC's version:
     
     
    28.0:
     

    • Using "Preview & Close" action on request page opens the report in preview

    • Nothing happens when using action "Print" from preview

    • Other than that, expected behavior for all other tests:

      • Save from preview works

      • Able to print saved file using file explorer

      • Able to print from request page direct
     
    27.5:
     

    • Expected behavior for all tests: 
      • Using "Preview & Close" action on request page opens the report in preview

      • Save from preview works

      • Able to print saved file using file explorer

      • Able to print from request page direct
      •  
     
    I was about to update my production to 28.0 today but with that issue I will be waiting for the next minor update which should hopefully fix
    this up.

    @YUN ZHU Thanks for the suggestion, I am not OP but have the same problem. Unfortunately I think you need to be a BC partner to access the link you suggested https://engage.cloud.microsoft/main/org/microsoft.com/groups/eyJfdHlwZSI6Ikdyb3VwIiwiaWQiOiIyMzgwNjQ2NDgxOTIifQ/all which I am unable to access.

    Same issue here. V 27.5, started to happen this morning, not sure what triggered. Preview & Close brings the report preview but Print button does nothing! have to download and print from pdf as a workaround.

    This seems to be an issue with either V27.5 or V28 or your windows version. Not much to do besides wait for a fix. You can also submit a support case to Microsoft or have your partner submit a case to Microsoft. I'd recommend if it persists you look at submitting a support case so it can be documented and acknowledged.
