I need to migrate timeline data into a different custom entity timeline. So please suggest
Can you please elaborate what exactly you are trying achieve here?
I can migrate notes data with attachment in different entity in same environment and show that notes in timeline.
You need to update the Regarding lookup field reference on notes records from old entity record to new entity record.
Example, if a Regarding field on note record "Note 1" pointing to record "ABC" of old entity, it should be changes to a record "XYZ" of new entity. Please note that, with this approach linkage between old entity and notes will be removed. If you wish to retains the notes data linked with old entity, you need to create new note records with attachment for each note records linked with old entity and link with new entity records.
You can use KingswaySoft in SSIS package for this migration.
