Service update fails to CHE - "Update script for service model: AOSService on machine: xxx"

It's step 20. I have solved this earlier and in my notes I'd written that run that step manually from the vm itself.
I tried to rerun it with AXupdateinstaller, but that didn't work either. Any ideas how to solve this?

I found this error message from the logs (Step20update-AXpackages_xxx): "Cannot find a process with the name "devenv". Verify the process name and call the cmdlet again."

Make sure all the custom models on the environment are in a built state, then try to resume.

The vm was completely standard without any modifications. So what I did to fix the problem:

1. Delete the vm

2. Deploy new vm

And now deployment straight to 10.0.41 works perfectly.
