Hi

Our navision clients uses keeping getting this error like 5 times a day.

" A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: Session Provider, error: 19 - Physical connection is not usable"

The server is a vm and there is not hardware or connectivity to the server like folders.

Please help.

Thank you.

My "service user" is dbo.. and I get those transport-level errors.
So it's not (only) a user permission problem.

    Hi Ashutosh

    Thanks for your reply.

The error has nothing to do with network or processor or ram. The configuration under sql security, uer mappings solve the issue. that is to say, give the service that run the sql at least read, write admin. For example, if you run sql service under network services, give network services the rights on reader, write and admin as show by Alexander (accepted answer) ., After that restart both sql and navision services.

The  error has nothing to do with network issues, nothing at all. It i the most misleading error.

I thought this error is not related to your Microsoft Dynamics NAV but the infra you deployed.

please check it with your network Admin

    Thanks Alexander.

This solution solve the issues. The error message causes confusion as it easily blames on network, tables but it is actually a configuration issue.

Have you run through this troubleshooting guide?

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj551773(v=nav.90).aspx

This also might be related to permissions. Check this good post:

    saurav-nav.blogspot.ru/.../error-after-restore-sql-backup-of-nav.html

Also, there might be still issues with the data (e.g., duplicate unique keys in the records).

This is from the event viewer.

I do not think i from the anti virus or fireall as i is working.

It seem like running in dministrator, I do noencounter this issue, an it be related to sql permission?

This could not be due to Jet Reporting.

This could be due to network protocol (or may be drop) or some background process enabled which is killing NAV Ideal sessions (from NAV or SQL).

Is there any change in Network Settings or Anti-Virus or Firewall related setups?

Do you see any message in Event Viewer?

This happen after we have installed jet report. Our system integrator however say they only change sql authentication to window authentication only.

It sounds like an SQL problem and might be because of SQL server has run into exception. In some cases it might be because there is some abnormal data in some record in a table. First, you need to understand with what tables users are trying to operate when they get this error, and then troubleshoot the records for weird data in the fields.

    Have you checked Event Viewer?

Is there any setup (SQL, NAV), which might be killing the Ideal session after particular timing?
