COM object error while sending an email

Hi,

I have a requirement to send email copy of Purchase Order from the buyer's email address directly from AX.

I am getting the following errors while sending an email.

1. COM object of class 'outlook.application' could not be created. Ensure that the object has been properly registered on computer '***********'

2. Object 'COM' could not be created.

3. Mail error: Unknown MAPI error.

    Is it a customization? If so, what's your code? It looks like it depends on Outlook which isn't installed on the machine where it executes.

    Martin,

    It is not customized. I realized later that if you don’t have Outlook setup (for instance you’re logged on to a terminal server for Dynamics AX but you run Outlook as an app on desktop), we will get error.

    Hi Meethu;

    Is there any solution when Outlook is open on the terminal server/PC? 

    If Outlook is closed, there is not error,  but outlook is openned, there is an error like yoour error. please help...

    Hello Hasan,

    I am also facing same issue. If outlook is closed, mails will be triggered, but if open then the same error will be thrown.

    How did you solved that? Any help will be appreciated.
