Is there any third related to GP, that could record any detailed modification done by a user on a field

Hi everyone,

A situation that need your attention, we would like to have the informations related to users when they make a modification in GP.

As an example, a user make a change on a customer card on the note options. Probably changing some informations on that record.

We would like to be able to trace what have been changed by the user on that field, more likely may be the sentence added or removed.

Through the smartlist, we only got the "date modified" not as detailed as we specified in the example above.

The Option "File Tracking" of the "Activity Tracking" related to the modifications did not either gave the results expected.

Hence the question to find out if there is a way to have these informations in GP or through a Third?

Thank you for any advice and for the help.

You can purchase the Audit Trails module from Microsoft.  Fastpath and Rockton also offer audit tools for GP.

Microsoft no longer offers one. It's gone back to Merit Solutions. However, in my opinion, FastPath's Audit Trails package is hands down the best.

    Hi Sergion,

    As your example,

for tracking a customer card (i.e) customer audit, we need to create an table & triggers to track the customer card through smart lists.

to track overall module changes please follow frank & polino's suggestion
