1099 box not update through excel add in ( VEndor v2 entity)

Hi All
 
We are trying to update the 1099 box through the vendor v2 entity.
 
from the design, we add the TAX1099BOX id-1099 BOX
 
After refresh, we get all the values in the box.
 
 
We get this error after changing the value in the 1099 box and when we Publish.
There is no security issue, but the system admin also gets the same error.

    Yes, it is for the USA.it happens for domestic 1099 also.

    Hi,
    As Frank said, the first thing to clarify is that 1099 form is specific to the United States and is used to report various types of income other than wages, salaries, and tips.

    I think you're getting that error because 1099 is not valid for China.  1099 is specific to the US only.

    I got this error. other field working as expected only if we add from design that not work.

    What was the error that appeared? Also did you try to update another field?

    Hi,
    The relevant documentation mentions that you can also use the Vendor settlement for 1099s page to enter or update the vendor's 1099 information. For more information about 1099 you can check out the link below: Year-end 1099 reporting - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
