I know that, in order to update the Unit Cost for a range of FIFO-based items, I have to use the Item Revaluation Journal.
This can't happen, though, unless I click the "Calculate Inventory Value" button.
When I run this, I get a popup message saying that an outbound entry in Item Ledger Entries has been found.
Yes, I know that revaluation works only for inbound entries. But, I need to get this change of Unit Cost accomplished.
How can I do so, however, with these popup messages stopping the process of placing records into the Item Revaluation Journal screen?
I was going to simply import the updated Unit Costs, by copying those costs from a separate spreadsheet into the Item Revaluation Journal that's created by running Calculate Inventory Value.
