How Activate "Action Approve or Reject" in Purchase Order Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Good night;

i am trying to Approve a purchase order but when i select the action only can i select two options: "Recall" and "View History".

What i need to setting ? Please... help me.

    Hi,

    From your screenshot, I got that the PO was submitted and It's pending for your approval.

    Please check your security permission/access right.

    Hi Jonell,

    Since you can not perform any action, it made me think that you are not the right person for application to get an action from.

    Please hit "View history" and examine whose approval is required.

    You can see that on history form, in the lower grid, both on 3rd and 2nd tab. If the approval work item is not assigned to your user, you can not perform any actions on it, even tough you have administrator privileges.

    First it should be assigned to you, which can be done in the 2nd tab mentioned above. Then you can do actions that is allowed on work item.

    Allowed actions are configured for each work item's properties, in workflow configuration form.

    I did it but i still can not approve my Purchase order.

    Hi,

    You have sent your document to workflow. But it is not forwarded to anyone for approval yet. There is a procedure that collects these documents and sends to users. It looks like this procedure has not been ran yet. Can you please run Tutorial_WorkflowProcessor in AOT->Forms and let us know if your workflow gets assigned to anyone? If it gets, then you can follow the steps I wrote in my previous post.

    Thank you! That was the soluction. I must to execute the Form "Tutorial_WorkflowProcessor" to approve the purchase order.

    Can you answer me a last question? where can i setup this Form? I need to execute automatically the workflow.

    Hi,

    You can set this task to batch job by using the wizard at:

    System administration->Setup->Workflow->Workflow Infrastructure Configuration

    You will be selecting a batch group on the second step, please view details on this field and make sure the selected AOS is set to batch job at System administration->Setup->System->Server configuration.
