Hi,
If I manually update the AX 7 VM axlocaladmin password, how can I update that information on LCS?
Thanks,

I don't think you can update the password that is stored in LCS. Because of that, if you change the password on the server, LCS deployments don't work anymore because the deployment process is executed with wrong credentials.
I have noticed that even though you might get notification "Your password will expire in 1 day(s)", the password doesn't really expire, so nothing forces you to change the password. But of course from security perspective it's a problem if you can't change the passwords of the admin account.
Hopefully in the future we could update the password information in LCS.
Thanks a lot Nikolaos!
Actually the password will expire in my experience. To prevent this you can change local policies in the VM or change user properties to have it set to never expire.
+1 for updating/editing password information in LCS!
I know it has been a long time since you asked this question, but yesterday I was facing the same issue and our system administrator told me there was a workaround.
Although, you still cannot update the Local admin password in LCS, you can revert it back to the original one in the VM.
You need to add another user with the Admin rights to the VM, connect to the server as that user and reset the original Local admin's password to its initial value stored in LCS.
You saved my day thank you.
