IWe have moved our Helpdesk application to Dynamic 365 Field service.
I can get the WO on my cell but I do not find a place to explain wher the tech have to writte the work done on the client site, how to close the WO and convert it on invoice or how can I see the WO that was already done so I can go back an reopen if the job have a callback.
Anybody really use Field service for Dynamic?
Are you using Field Service Mobile App or the D365 app on your phone?
Why are you using work orders for your help desk? Why not cases? So they go onsite and install parts?
So to automatically create the invoice from a work order, you need to have a Work Order Service or Work Order Product on the work order and set the line status to 'Used'. Once you have done this you set the system status to 'closed-posted' and this should create Invoice show your Work Order Products or Services and Invoice lines.
For seeing older work orders you need to go into the Woodford configurator and on the Bookable Resource Booking entity change the 'Sync Filter' so it shows more bookings.
