Item Age Composition Report

Hi,

I have noticed that if goods are moved from one location to another in NAV, be it by Transfer order or item reclass. journal, the ageing of those items is affected by the move.

I have tested this in a standard 2017 Cronus database and the postings are affected the ageing there also.

Has anybody encountered this before/can explain the logic of this?

    Hi, lank

    as Amol Explain Standard NAV Item Age Composition Qty &  Value Reports Age include item movements through transfer order also positive adjustments so you age is not correct.

    to get real item Age you can modify existing report or create a new report to Pick only Purchase GRN.

    Standard Navision does item aging on posting date and not on good received date. You need to modify the report to pick up correct GRN date and calculate againg
