Running a new electronic report

A client requires a new report that can be developed through the functionality of Electronic Reporting. This report would be on the general ledger module. Currently, they are using all other ER reports. Would they have to develop a form or button in an actual form of the GL Module to generate the report? or is there another that does not require development which they can use to generate the report?

    Running a new electronic report
    If it's an out of the box report, when the report is configured and deployed, a new menu item will automatically be added in the appropriate area in the GL menu.
