Have a client that set up Dynamics 365 using the default .onmicrosoftonline.com tenant address. They just migrated their email from a third party imap provider to office 365. new User accounts were created for the imap migration and all users@customdomain.com have mailboxes. The dynamics online accounts did not have mailboxes to begin with.
I tried going to the user@domain.onmicrosoftonline.com account in office 365 and changing the user name field to user@customdomain.com but i get an error stating /The email address is being used by user @customdomain.com. Please use a different email address/
