    Hi Ram,

Why would you need a batch job to export data to excel?

Is this because you want to analyze the exported data?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

You can still write custom program to Export data and place in a shared file location. Have you looked at DMF whether this fulfill your requirement. you can setup DMF in recurring and get the data in excel.

    Hello Ram,

There are two things that come to my mind and that might help.

    1. The data export/import functionality that you can find in the system admin module in the common section. This functionality is already an older one that was inherited from previous AX versions but you can execute things in batch and the setup is rather simple as long as you are familiar with the tables from where you want to export things

    2. The data import export framework module in AX2012. This one is more powerful and possibly better but you have to check if all the entities needed are available out of the box. if this is not the case then you might have to create it in which case no 1 might be the better option.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
