Will Dynamics CRM marketing have a one-click unsubscribe option for marketing emails?

Posted on by 4
Below is what I was able to find using bots, but its states that it does not have this option. Does anyone know if MS is working on this, since its going to be a required option to send emails to various email address like gmail and yahoo.

Dynamics 365 Marketing does provide options for managing customer consent and subscriptions¹. However, it's important to note that the system is transitioning from Outbound Marketing to Realtime Marketing, and the way consent is managed is also changing¹.

In the Outbound Marketing model, customer consent is stored per Contact record, while in the Realtime Marketing model, consent is stored per email address or phone number¹. The Realtime Marketing Consent page cannot be customized except for the text wordings, and there is no way to support subscriptions¹. On the other hand, the Outbound Marketing Subscription center is fully customizable and can be used to manage subscriptions¹.
There is an option to use outbound subscription centers in real-time journeys¹. However, it's important to ensure that consent changes are synchronized across the consent models¹. If a contact has Marketing Emails to allow and active subscriptions, their email can still be blocked if they also don’t have their ‘consent points’ set to allow¹.

So, while Dynamics 365 Marketing does provide options for managing subscriptions and consent, it may not be as simple as a one-click unsubscribe option. It's recommended to always respect customer marketing preferences and keep the Contact Point Consent and Compliance up to date¹.

  • Will Dynamics CRM marketing have a one-click unsubscribe option for marketing emails?
    Hi Anubhav,

I have enabled the feature on Customer insights but when I sent an outbound marketing email, it doesn't have that One Click Unsubscribe button. Any reasons why it's not showing?

    Thanks,
    Justin

We are working on enabling support for the one-click unsubscribe functionality and the feature would be available for our customers to turn on prior to the Feb deadline from Google and Yahoo.

    Regards,
    Anubhav
