Managment Reporter - Web Viewer does not allow drill down (Report Viewer Does)?

I have built an income statement that rolls up certain accounts using TOT (ex TOT 200:220) to summarize certain accounts (summarized accounts are set to NP in print control)..  In the Report Viewer I can select the rolled up field an it will drill down to the summarized accounts and then select one of  the summarized accounts to drill down to the transactions.  The same report in Web viewer does not allow me to drill down when using the TOT function.  Is there a way in Web veiwer to accomplish the same thing?

    Hi Jake,

I'm unable to access the KB article you reference.  Is it for MR or FRx?  If it's for MR, could you please tell me what needs to be enabled in the .ini file in order to allow drill-down on TOT rows?

By default, the DrillDown Viewer does not allow you to drill into TOT lines. You would have had to manually enable that by modifying the FRX.INI file as per the KB below.

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../KBDisplay.aspx

WebPort does not support this customization so unfortunately, it will not be possible to drill into TOT lines there.

As a possible work-around, I would recommend using ranges on the rows. What I mean by that is rather than pulling in the accounts individually, setting them to NP, and then totaling them to drill in, just pull all the accounts on one printing line. To do that, double-click in the Link to General Ledger and just add all of the accounts either individually or as a range. You should then be able to drill into that line in both the DrillDown Viewer and WebPort.
