27Hi Production Costing/ Finance experts,
I am struggling to get this last piece of the puzzle working. We have Costing sheet setup for Materials (BOM material), Labour (Routing cost groups) and Indirect cost groups.
All nodes and cost groups are working except for one.
We setup a Cost Group (type indirect) and try to use it for adding a fix amount ($2.4) based on the Production Quantity (pls see image below). This is setup in the Costing Sheet, and with node type "rate".
No matter how we configure the Absorption basis, no amount calculation relating to this value comes up (in the Item Price, Calculation in Released Products).
It is very strange.
I also think that the drop down in the Absorption choices (showing other Nodes in the Costing sheet) seems not meaningful. If the "Subtype" points to Quantity, that the absorption basis should simply be Quantity perhaps; what then does it mean by allowing choices base it on other Nodes in the costing sheet that might have outcome that is not quantity based.
