Excel add-in fetching old data

The dynamics AX add-in is set to auto refresh when the workbook is open.  It does refresh when it opens, but the info that is returned is not current/correct.  It is almost like it is running against cached data.  after opening the file, if you go to the dynamics tab, and choose refresh, the data that is returned (running against the exact same queries that it ran against when it opened) is correct.

also have tried using the application.sendkeys function to get the tables to refresh.  Neither works.

How can I get these tables to update correctly without user intervention?

It is set to point to the same PROD environment on open that it is when the SAME query is executed via manual refresh.  The data that is in the tab after the update that executes upon opening of the file does not return the correct data.  Click on the manual refresh, and the data that is returned is the correct info.  How can the SAME query when ran on open return one result and the manual refresh return another?

    Hi,

be sure in your Excel that the setup connection is correct , sometimes , your Excel is set up with TEST environnement and you have to switch it always to PROD after opening file.

    Thanks
