Adding activities to the profiles with the contacid missing

I have connected my data to the CRM defining de contacid field as the primary key of the table. However, many of the activities from my cientes are not related to such id, but to the email. While configuring activities, the platform only allows me to match them with the primary key of the contact. How can I solve to get the related activities without the dynamics contacid on the table?

Hi,

Is the Activity Entity you are using to add activities for the customer profile an Activity Entity in CRM Dataverse?

For example: Email, Appointment.
