Identify OOB Logic on Unit Lookup against Existing Product in Opportunity Line

Posted on by 980
I am trying to identify the default logic/script that updates the list of associated UOMs on Opportunity Line once we select the existing product.

And when we make the Price List Optional, how do we fix the code to ensure that only associated UOM's will be visible/displayed.

    Hello Leah,

The filter you show will only display the default unit set with the product.

I am looking for an OOB option through which MS has added the filter on the Unit field based on a select product (Existing Product)

As per the default settings, Once the price list is tagged with Opportunity and the product the associated Unites will filter and only associated units in the same price list against the product will be displayed.

But when we make the Price List Optional, the Unit list displays all the units available in the system.

    Hi,
You can customize Unit field in the opportunity line form, set 'Related records filtering'.
Make this field show default unit of the selected products.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
