Hi, we had a Contact who was set at "Do not allow" for Bulk Emails. This Contact subsequently filled in one of our Contact forms to receive a Whitepaper we have produced.
The corresponding response Email with the WP download link was not sent, even though the Contact completed a double opt-in process.
Why would the system then not auto change the status back to "allow" if this process has been completed.
Is there some setting we need to make to allow re-engagement with our Marketing if our Marketing forms are submitted?

The double opt-in will not change the option for Bulk Emails. It is only used to make sure that the request is intentional, and that the supplied email address is legitimate and functional.
You can add the option into the Contact form so that the contact info can be updated after the contact submit the form with the same first name + last name + email.
The Bulk Email option in the Details tab of the main form for Contact will switch to Allow after submitting the Marketing Form without ticking the option “Do not email”.
