Create Site Specific Settings from Code

I am trying to create site specific settings from code, using the settings from an existing item. I am using buf2buf to copy the settings to a new InventItem###Setup records, and then changing the ItemId on those records to the new item.

The resulting InventItem###Setup records all look good, but they don't display on the Site Specific Settings form. Is there another link that needs to be established in addition to ItemId?

    Hi,

can you verify that you copy the records with the correct InventDimID (NOT "AllBlank")? Also, you have to make sure that the Purch record is there, because it's the "main" record on that form - maybe you started with Sales or Invent?

Hope this helps, let us know how you progress.

    Kind regards,

    Annette

Apparently, I started testing too soon. You need to have all three setup records there or the form query breaks. It does inner joins from Purch to Invent to Sales.

    Thanks for the help.
