Calculated field on a entity

Hi Experts,
I am creating a new entity which has the inventTransId ,itemId ,qty and the batchNumber of a transfer order lines.
I want to add a new field to this entity to expose  line number .
The line number should be in the below format..
Eg if Transfer order line number is 1 and we have two corresponding lines in the entity ,then the line numbers should be 1.1 and 1.2
 
I hope I am able to explain and this is feasible

    Entity as in AX2012 Data Import / Export framework entity?
     
    Or entity as in D365 F&O entity?
     
    Also, why are you creating your own entity for transfer orders? There exists standard ones in both AX2012 and D365 F&O.

    Which version are you using? AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 F&O? It sounds like F&O but you posted in AX 2012.
