"No sender found" error when sending an email from Dynamics 365 with Unified Interface

Hello-

My organization upgraded to the Unified Interface over the weekend and now when someone tries to send an email from CRM an error pops up that says "No sender found. The email must have a sender. Select a sender". We can't select anything in the From box.

Has anyone had this issue and know what to do?

    Hi Bipin-

    I appreciate the response.

    As far as I know we don't have any plugin or java script set up from the email entity, but do you know how to check that? I am not very savvy on the more technical side of Dynamics.

    This was never an issue until moving to the new UI.

    Hi Soumen-

    I missed your response until now. This is happening when we go to create a new email from a Contact.

    It says there is no "from" person and that field is not editable (I can't try to put my name in it).

    As far as I know we don't have any customization or plugin/workflows set up from the email entity. This was never an issue until moving to the new UI.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    Disable any plugin or javascript on Email entity and see if it works.

    Some custom code making setting from party with null value.

    Are you seeing this error in a new email compose page?

    Is it not loading the logged in user as the sender by default?

    Do you have any customization or plugin/workflow on email entity?
