Mobile app size in phone seems too large

Hi,

I'm complaining about data use of the mobile app.

Yesterday, my app downloaded 1.8 GB of data, and today I notice that the app is taking up 2.89 GB of space on my phone.

I am aware that I have many bookings in my history, but argue that this amount of data download and storage use seems excessive, because we are not dealing with data-heavy content like images for example.

The data stored on your device is configurable based on your mobile offline profile and security. It doesn’t just include your bookings but all of the records required to do your work potentially including: work orders, work order products, work order services, service tasks, inspections, accounts, contacts, assets, functional locations, notes, knowledge articles, iot device data, and many other records. Plus a few records required for the app to work correctly.

Further, depending on how your organization set up the offline profile, you may have many other potential records. And it could be downloading data for each of the relevant tables for a single day or for multiple days worth of work.

This all adds up, even if you’re not using many images.
