Hi all,

When I Give QTY as (0) in Sales Order Lines Grid no button is getting enabled in (POSTING) they are getting enabled only if QTY is (1) > (1).  I want to enable them even if the QTY is (0) and Post and Confirm and Print the report .

Please do needful,

Regards,

    Hi Nishath,

"Please do needful"... ? We can only provide answers here. If the quantity is zero, then there is nothing to post. So it is an odd requirement. What would be the meaning?

    Hi Andre ,

    Thanks For your Reply.

For Ex :  If Sales Order Line contain two diff items let's say ( Item - A  ,Item - B).

    Item-A  with QTY Nos (2)

    Item-B with QTY Nos(0).

Now What I Want is to print the report which contains both the Items with their respective QTY Nos.

So  just I want to know how to enables those button by coding such that (even if lines contains QTY as '0' )

My Report ll be containing two Grids,  One with Items with QTY with all the (1's)

Other with Items with QTY with all the (2's)

    Hi Nishath Salman,

If you want to make a code change good starting point will be canConfirmationBeUpdated() method of SalesTableType class.

It's not an easy change and will affect not only confirmation but probably other documents.

My advice to you is to debug this code and understand what it does and what do you need to change.

Just one help I need from you Ievgen.

while debugging I saw that it is calling th method (enableJournalConfirmationButtons())  and it returning TRUE n FALSE based on the QTY value .

I am not able to understand how it is recognizing the QTY value and returning TRUE OR FALSE accordingly please let me know

You can check checkSalesQty() method on SalesTableType class

You can select qtySales in the code editor and do right click -> view definition to drill through to the method definition.

Please try and let us know if there is something unclear for you.

Another option is to put a breakpoint on this line and when it will be hit press F11 to  do "step into".

Thanks a Lot Ievgen.  I have enabled the button even with "0" QTY .

Only thing Now is that the Line with QTY "0" is not getting populated when I hit "Confirmation" button
