How to retrieve record created from Dialog form?

I have a created a new Wizard that allows our users to create a new Record (Subproject).  This is accomplished by adding the Display Menu Item 'ProjTableCreateSubProject' to my wizard form.  This pops up the dialog the same way it would in the projects list page at [Entity] -> PM&A -> Commen -> Projects -> All projects.

My question is, once the user has created a new subproject, is there a way for me to get that new record?  As the users progress in our Wizard, that record will be needed for further action.

    Hi bRradlyJames,

What is it exactly what you want to do? Refresh the form to show the data or call e.g. a class method and passing the newly created record? At what exact moment do you need the record? When the user did click OK or another action on the form itself?

Once they are done creating the new Subproject from the Dialog, they will hit 'Next' on the wizard.  At that point I want to get that new ProjTable record.

Do you mean to say 'Next' or 'Finish'. And should it be passed to another method or do you want to call the record created from the form you started the wizard?

I mean to say 'Next'.  There are more steps in the Wizard that need that new record.  Here's how it will go

    1. Run Wizard

    2. Hit 'Next' until New Subproject step in wizard.

    3. In the current Step, hit 'New Subproject'

    4. Create new Subproject from the dialog that was shown in step 3.

    5. After completing the creation (By hitting 'Ok in the Dialog and the Dialog closes), hit 'Next' in the wizard

    6. At some point doing the 'Next' event, attempt to try and get the newly create Subproject record.

You can actually call the wizard form in a variable. When the subproject finishes, you can call methods from the just closed form to get some data. I do have an example on my onedrive to call form methods between two different forms: onedrive.live.com

THat sounds like what I'm looking for.  Appears I don't have access to that file on your onedrive.

I did share the wrong link. This link should work: 1drv.ms/.../s!ApcKgHi0IWNh0A21qzMjqlRsxdXq

Then go to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 > Various
