Year End close-Reset in Ax 2012- Voucher Numbers are missing for the reversal and original year end transactions

I have reset the year end closing as there were some adjustments, on reseting the reversal voucher and original voucher against which the reset has happened is missing in ax , we dont find any where and there is no track . After the adjustment again we ran the year end close . the current voucher for year end close is visible.

    Hi Honey,

    If you used the option to delete the year end transactions, then it will be physically deleted. There is no traceability by adding new revering vouchers.

    Hi Ludwing

    1. We ran the year end close with Voucher Number YE2018

    2. Client had to some adjustments so I have rest the Opening transaction with Voucher Number REV001

    3.Again re run the year end close with Voucher Number 00241

    4.Now the vouchers YE2018 and REV001 are missing we don't have track in the system.

    Hello Honey,

    Do you have the GL parameter 'delete year end closing vouchers during transfer' active?

    If this is the case then the old vouchers will be deleted.

    Otherwise, delta or adjustment balance transfers will be created.

    I did as you told in test server , I have uncheked the delete the year end transaction and did the rest option I am getting the below error

    Total of the transactions in the year is not 0.00.

    Total is 72,478,338.46.

    Yes I have the parameter check mark but if I do uncheck and do the reset I am getting below errors

    I see.

    If I am not wrong then there is a hotfix that deals with this issue.

    Can you check on LCS for this hotfix?

    Was the data in the test environment the same as the production? How did you copy the data for your test?

    Please check:

    1.) Solution 3656289AX2012 R3 - Year End Opening Balance Transfer Issue

    There it says:

    Problem:

    When running the year end close process AX2012 R3 throws an error message "Total of the transactions in the year is not 0.00. Total is#####. This is a serious error. Run \"Check\" on ledger transactions" . This only occurred if an account has Opening account in the main account setup

    Mitigation:

    If the Delete close-of-year transactions during transfer check box is selected in the General ledger parameters form, opening transactions and system-generated closing transactions that exist for the year to be closed are deleted when the transfer is processed again in the Opening transactions form.

    2.) Solution 3615977Fiscal Year Closure

    Problem:

    When financial dimensions have not been defined for an account using for closing year end transactions, and if we run opening transactions with that particular ledger by marking transfer financial dimensions, the transactions on this year-end account are posted with dimensions.

    Mitigation:

    Use the below settings in financial dimensions tab to get the main account without any financial dimensions on the opening transactions and closed transactions:

    Step 1: Go to General ledger > Periodic > Fiscal year close > Opening transactions > general tab

    Click on Ok.

    Step 2: Go to General ledger > Periodic > Fiscal year close > Opening transactions > Financial dimension tab.

    After posting the Opening transactions, notice that opening and closing transactions having no dimensions updated.

    If the user follows the same steps by marking profit and loss financial dimensions to close all, and post the opening transactions then the dimensions will flow to the opening and closing transactions created.
