Time Input required for Short Leave calculation

Posted on by 10

Dear All,

We have a requirement of time input by employee to calculate short leave scenario.

i.e. an employee should be allowed to submit a short leave request in advance by mentioning from date and time to date and time.

with example, it can be understand as .. 20th May'2020 4:30 PM to 20th May'2020 6:30 PM. With this input, employee's 2 hours of leave will be considered for 20th May.

is there any standard form where time input can be captured in D365 FINOPS application.

    Hi Vivek,

I did some searches, but I couldn’t find a blog about this.

You can contact your developer for help.

    Hi QianQW,

    Appreciate your quick response.

Thanks for educating me with category differences. I am surely done a misunderstanding here as I actually meant for F&O Human Resource.

Though, you still answered my query as its not there as OOB in F&O.

Is there any blog you can refer as in how this can be achieved technically.

    Regards,

    Hi Vivek Arora,

Are you asking the hours calculation in Finance and Operation? If so, there isn't such OOB function to input the short time request.

The reason I ask this is because you created a post in Human Resources forum, which is different from the human resource module in F&O.

This human resources is derived from the Finance and Operation. It provides a comprehensive personnel management solution and is evolving on it's own path. You can create leave requests on an hourly basis in Human Resources.
