Hello,

Im current having an issue whereby I have run the Depreciation Journal with BookId = BUD.

There are also some Depreciation Adjustment. When i extract the Fixed Asset Journal V2 , the BUD Depreciation Adjustment is not extracted. I can see Depreciation Adjustment only for BookID = DEP

Im building a report for CAPEX Budgeted Depreciation. Any advice on how i can extract the BUD Depreciation Adjustment amount.

Hi Bill,

Thank you a lot for replying. This is the current setup for BUD and DEP. I am trying to set "Post to general ledger" to "Yes" but it is not allowing me cause journal already exist.

Hi KP,

Please check your books configuration for both BookId = BUD & DEP. Are there any difference between them or not?

Fixed assets > Setup > Books

Additional, specially check following options for BookId = BUD:

- Allow posting automatic adjustment with basic adjustments:

Select this option to automatically generate depreciation adjustments when the basis of the asset is adjusted with another adjustment type entry.

- Create depreciation adjustments:

By setting this option to No, the automatic depreciation adjustment won’t be posted when multiple acquisition transactions are posted on the same date.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes the BookId is indeed BUD and already posted. Transaction done on 31/07/2021. There had been an Acquisition adjustment to decrease the Fixed Asset Value. So under BUD, i do see the Acquisition adjustment and Depreciation Adjustment ON Screen. The budgeted Depreciation is another value compared to what is being downloaded.

What is being downloaded is the Accumulated Depreciation (BOOKID=DEP) on the Acquisition Adjustment.

In SUM, the budgeted Depreciation Adjustment should be downloaded also. Cannot understand why it is not in the file.

Can you check the adjusted transaction for the BookId = BUD. it is already posted and corrected date/period or not?

Can you check the original transaction of the fixed asset adjustment? check the source and then try to export from that data entity.
