VS Code on NAV 2018 - Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: ‘NavTenant’

Hello I'm trying to setup a service so I can use VS Code but once I select "Enable Development Service Port" im not able to start the service (without that option I'm able to start the service).

Event Viewer retrives me the following error Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: ‘NavTenant’.

Any clue? Thanks in advance

This error could occour when the service instance is setup to use a port (Management Services Port, Client Services Port, SOAP Services Port or OData Services Port) that is already in use by an existing running NAV Instance. If so, change the port number to a one which is not being used by any other instance, or stop the other service using this port.

Hello Stefano. In the current machine just 1 service is set. Also tried different port numbers and still have the same error.

    Hi!

    1) Try to choose in development environment:

Tools - > Sync. Schema for All Tables -> Force

    2) Try to run instance with user instead of Network Service.

    3) Check that User and Network service has dbowner on SQL

Don't know if you fixed this, but try to run this in a command prompt as administrator:

netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:7049/DynamicsNAV110/ user="NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE"

If there are still people with the same issue.

Changing the Credential type on the service from NavUser to Windows, helped me.

I hope this helps others as well:)
