Dynamics GP 2013 R2 Upgrade Business Portal Compatibility

I have been testing the 2013 R2 upgrade (from 2013 SP2) in an isolated virtual environment. The upgrade itself and all third party upgrades went great. The only thing I can't seem to test is Business Portal. Since the virtual machine is isolated (exact clone of current GP virtual machine, so I've got to keep it off-network), I can't get logged into BP when I do https://localhost/bp.

I'd rather not upgrade without seeing if BP works but at this point I don't see any other way of testing it. Is Dynamics 2013 R2 compatible with Business Portal 6.0?

    I have a similar setup but I do replicate my AD server so that things like Business Portal and the Web Client will work in my virtual environment.  If it cannot reach the AD server it will not work.  However I have been running Business Portal 6.0 with GP 2013 R2 for almost a year now without issues.  No changes in Business Portal required.

    Was starting to lose hope on this one be answered, so I was grateful to see your reply. Exactly what I was hoping to hear, thanks so much!

    Love the idea on replicating your AD server. Definitely need to incorporate that into my Veeam testing network.
